More Than A Mission

Your twenties. These years are full of liveliness – experiencing new things, creating new relationships, and making decisions (even if they are poor ones!) But most importantly your twenties are about establishing who you are and who you want to become. What better way to “find” who you are than to look directly to the ONE who created you.

Anissa Lotti is a self proclaimed diva who LOVES clothes, makeup, and shoes but at 22, she was called to embark on the journey of a lifetime. She made the decision to be courageous, obey God’s calling and make a difference. In September, she will be packing her life into a single backpack and traveling to 11 different countries in 11 months to experience a raw adventure of faith – The World Race. Anissa will be ministering the word of God all over the world – serving others, working in orphanages, constructing homes & churches, mentoring & building relationships, praying with the sick in hospitals and reaching the unreached.

She is courageous. She is obedient. She is changing lives. She is making a difference.

This past April, Lucca had the privilege of partnering with Anissa in a fundraising event – Lucca for Lotti Sidewalk Sale. With the support of our community, we helped Anissa raise the necessary funds enabling her to embark on this incredible mission she is about to undertake. What a blessing! The World Race is more than a mission trip though. And Anissa’s journey is more than a testament of faith. Through this partnership, Anissa has so graciously pulled at our own heart strings. She has served as an inspiration of what it means to obey God’s calling, what it means to sacrifice, what it means to SERVE and what it means to make a difference. She has inadvertently challenged us to reflect on our own lives. Anissa is courageous. She is obedient. She is changing lives. She is making a difference. She is taking a stand and doing something that matters. She is serving at the feet of our gracious Father and she has inspired us to do the same.

You don’t have to travel the world to serve. Every Lucca girl can make a difference in their own community. Have faith. Seek God’s guidance. Be courageous. Make a difference.
